Yea i was just thinking of a category that could include both male and female, lead, supporting, and bit parts.

I wouldn't mind a best comedic performance--after all we are trying to be different here. But I'll go with the flow.
After doing some thinking, I would like for Pearls Before Swine to be up for voting again. It's just a "Just for Fun" category, so if we don't take it super-seriously, it shouldn't create controversy.
I would also suggest scrapping the Why? category. It just hasn't been that interesting. Instead, what about... BIGGEST TURKEY? I think that would be fun.

What about the opposite of Pearls Before Swine?... something referring to those great movies that might've been ruined by something. A performance, an ending, etc.

Agree. It is the same nominees year after year - i.e. Why do rubbish films make lots of money, why was film x so poor etc...
I also think we should try and add one or two more novelty categories to make it different to other awards. Biggest Turkey is a good suggestion. |

Suggestions for Improvements.
1. Ranking the votes
It is suggested that, at the voting stage, we rank 3 of the 5 nominees in order of preference and that these votes are weighted accordingly to decide the winner in each category.

The alternative is to rank votes in order to break ties only.

2. Best Music
The suggestion is that this category is open to films featuring either original or non-original music or both.

Another thing that popped up during the ceremony was about the nomination of duos for certain categories (Breakthrough, for example).
In past years, we've had shared nominations for:
- Jeremy Sumpter and Matt O'Leary in Frailty
- Michael Pitt and Ryan Gosling in Murder By Numbers
- Sarah & Emma Bolger in In America
Will this be permitted in future events?

Please change my vote to #7 to NO. I think we're forgetting that adding awards lengthens the ceremony and increases the burden, and this one just doesn't seem that important to me. I have edited my post to that effect.
